The description of current classes can be found below. Registration for most of the classes is through the Gilbert Parks and Rec Program. See each class below for a link to registration.
Unless otherwise noted, all equipment is supplied. Some classes have an equipment fee that will be paid during the first class. This is rare and is noted in the description during registration.
Please wear closed-toe shoes to all classes. It's helpful if shirts fit snug, especially the sleeves. Long hair should be secured behind the head. Loose jewelry should be removed.

Learn Archery in a Day
This class is an intense 2 hours long. During it you will learn all the basics of a good archery shot. Training will be given then practice with a bow will follow. This class is suitable for youth and adults but please keep in mind that two hours is a long time to stay focused for some younger children. The class is offered on different dates so, if the date linked to below is full, look for the next month's offering.
Explore Archery Clinics
Explore Archery classes use games and activities to learn different archery skills. Participants who complete each class earn a medallion which, when all five are earned, represent an archery target. Although these classes are usually held during school breaks, they are suitable for all ages 8-Adult
This class has a series of sessions for those who've had some archery experience. Focus is on developing a stable shooting form that's less stressful on the body and produces more consistent shots. Learn to shoot like the Olympians. Great for all ages 8-Adult. Different start dates are available.
This class has a series of sessions for those who have little or no archery experience. Focus is on safety and good shooting habits. Perfect for all ages 8-Adult. Different start dates and times are available.
Men's Morning Shoot
This class is for adult men only. Challenge other men in mini competitions. Earn bragging rights and prizes. Bring your own equipment or use the club's at no extra cost. All levels of experience are welcome. Different start dates are available.
Women's Morning Shoot
This class is for adult women only. Enjoy the company of other women while learning archery or developing your skills. This laid-back and fun atmosphere is the perfect setting for some "me time". We can play archery games, have mini competitions, whatever the group chooses to do each week, all while getting quality coaching. All levels are welcome, even those who have never held a bow before. Different start dates are available.
This free class is taught primarily by other archery students. It's a basic introduction to the sport of archery. Safety and history will be the focus with minimum shooting time. Several dates are available. You must register ahead of time to attend.
The range is open for shooting on your own. No instruction will be provided but participants must follow the range master's instructions and shoot in time with paid shooters. Open shooting is on a first come first served basis, with paid shooters (classes and club members) getting first choice of lanes.
